Donnacha Toomey released his debut album "Carnival of Colours" in 2009. The album received much interest for its "judiciously crafted songs" and musicianship and was widely acclaimed in both Irish and International press. It quickly became a regular feature on well established RTE and BBC radio shows as well as a number of US folk stations.
"Carnival of Colours"-"Dappled jazz inflections, razor sharp melody, delightfully intricate guitar & trumpet set this collection apart from it's attention seeking peers"
